Great place to go for the day. Hike along the creek and jump in to cool down. Dirt road getting there is a bit rough but the van did it without any problems. Lots of parking and a restroom at the trail head. Plenty of shade but don't forget your water. We took my daughters who are 8 and 5, they made it about 3 miles in before wanting to turn around. Lots of beautiful scenery. I would like to go again, make it further down the trail, and stay over night.
