Cruise America RV Rental

The RV is good. A little lacking in some necessities.

After making reservations through the website this past fall, my wife and I drove down to Flagstaff from the Seattle area, car loaded, for our first RV adventure. After reading a number of reviews for Cruise America, most not very complimentary, I was a bit nervous of the unknown. To our surprise and delight, Tamie, the CA representative in Flagstaff, had everything ready for us when we drove up shortly after 1pm on April 27th, 2015. She gave me a detailed tour of the 25' RV we rented, showing me all the controls of the unit. We also made a nice walk around of the unit. There were some issues, already documented that we both agreed upon. Finishing up the paper, Tamie was great in helping me fax documents to my insurance company (I believe in having all bases covered). The week in the unit has made me a fan of Cruise America, specifically the Flagstaff franchise (and Tamie!). We visited 7 different national and state parks, 4 states, and had no problems with the RV. While not a race car, it was able to maintain the speed limit on nearly every road we drove. At the end of our week, we returned to the Flagstaff location, met Tamie, and performed another detailed walk through. The paperwork completed, my wife and I got in our car and started the long drive back home. Both of us were quite satisfied with the treatment, the equipment, and especially the great trip. Thanks, Tamie, for the great service, good humor, and patience showing us everything about the RV we rented.
