I went back and forth on this after spending most of my day recalling the debacle that was my experience here. I didn't read the mostly negative reviews until I was actually here in the waiting room. I crossed my fingers and kept an open mind.
Got a Saturday appointment the moment I called to do a brake inspection. Same day! Thumbs up. Delivered the van and requested a top tier oil change ($49) while there. Fletcher's called to say the brake pads had life left and needed no immediate attention. Thumbs up for their honestly! But then.....Tech said there was an oil leak "somewhere" and that I should "let us just steam clean it to find the source". Ok...Sounds like a plan. Thumbs up. The van would be done at 2pm. Leisurely we arrived at 3pm and had to wait until 4:30 to leave because they had not begun the work. Oh, and 4:30 was a half hour past closing time. Great. Angry techs working on my car. Thumbs down. Got the bill. Thumbs rubbing my eyes. At the point earlier when the tech had told me to "let us just steam clean it" he had an opportunity to tell me that "let us" was going to cost me 70.00!! He passed that opportunity up. Thumbs down. But hey, the oil change was only charged at 14.95! Thumbs up. But 14.95 isn't even an option they offer for an oil change. Thumbs conflicted. Oh man, I got the cheap synthetic oil instead of the high mileage good stuff I wanted. Thumbs down. Got home two miles away and had a flat the next morning. Tire shop I bought them at said the tire had been cut on the sidewall. Wow. Two miles from Fletcher's and my tire is cut. Sure. Ok. 140.00 and I'm back on the road. Thumbs down or did a garden knome do it? I'm open-minded. Now the oil pressure light is flickering. Low oil. Plug is tight but MAN! Oil leak is now obvious. Loosened valve cover bolts or did the steam cleaning open up my engine's pores? I'm open-minded to the degree of two stars. Pretty good if you're me.
