Felt a little jerked around. I paid the sign up fee, clicked on my symptoms, saw the doc. Doctor seemed to already have a treatment plan before he heard what I had to say. I told him that I am in pretty intense pain when doing certain activities, and I would not be there if all I needed was an adjustment and a massage. He said I did not need x-rays. Popped back, went in for electroshock, paid my $120. Came back two days later for followup, no improvement on pain, asked about x-rays. Doc said I just needed another adjustment and massage. Told me to come back two days later if pain persisted. Popped back, electroshock, paid $70. Returned two days later, same pain. Told office staff that I cannot afford to keep paying this, and would like x-rays. Was told I that I was only scheduled for adjustment, Doc would probably send me somewhere else for x-rays. Was told X-rays not covered by initial fee, would be another $100. If all you need is your back popped, find a loved one and consult Youtube. If you need a massage, there are several reputable parlors in town. If you have serious pain, check in to YRMC and see a real doctor.
