Sonoran Desert National Monument

Breath taking, awe inspiring, incredible beauty. There really is no adequate way to describe the scenery, and majesty of the park. Inexpensive day passes can be purchased at one of the many kiosks located throughout the park, and allow access to all there is to see. We didn't stop, but the city of Sonora looks to have various touristy shops, and many restaurants. Be prepared to walk as parking is at a premium due to the crowds. Jeep tours are also available.
