Asked a female postal employee a question as I was borrowing a pen that was laying out on the counter. Her response was to take physically take the pen out of my hand and sarcastically ask “You can read, right?” Well, I’m a physician. It just so happens that after 12 years of higher education, I CAN, in fact, read. I’ve always thought this location’s employees were rude but this lady takes the cake. They really know how to live up to the typical “government employee” reputation here. Touché.
Once again this post office has demonstrated an apparent inability to perform a basic job function; deliver a package. Instead I get a message from Amazon saying the carrier attempted delivery and the mailbox was either full or the package wouldn't fit. Ummm it's a large box of course it doesn't fit. I guess it's too much for the driver to get out of the vehicle and walk it to my door like every other delivery service does. Not only that, they left no slip so I had to track down the info on their website...and call their 800 #...only a 2:45 minute wait for an agent! Is there any wonder the post office has such a bad reputation? Amazon PLEASE stop using the post office! I'd be willing to pay extra to avoid the hassle of picking up my package!!!
