we've been meaning to go here for a few years now and honestly I'm sad we've waited this long. The Welcome is super casual, a little hidden gem in down town Phoenix. There is bar style seating inside but we chose to sit outside, we got there at 7:30 and our wait was super short ! By the time we left, crowds were picking up, and it gets busy fast !! We shared poutine fries ( which were so yum ) my husband had the jambalaya ( talk about flavor town) and I had the Big Jim biscuit which was incredible. I had a drink and my husband had a beer. The food was so fresh and from scratch, and made with lots of love. We want to come back and brings lots of friends to enjoy the easy going atmosphere.

I can't start by telling you how completely let down I was by this modular restaurant. The "shack" not diner, is a single wide trailer on a concrete slab. Hope you enjoy eating in 100 degree heat, cause you have to eat outside and the sprayers will cut off after time, they did on us. There is no kids menu nor regular seating just your hobo, pedophile uncles lawn furniture and no, it has not been well kept. The food is gross the chipotle mac and cheese tasted like card board, the jack fruit sandwich made me wanna puke, and the bigger my 7 year old said was inedible. The fries have to be order as a extra. So for me and my three children to have dinner cost well over 60 dollars... before tip, yeah that's right they expect you to tip even though there is no... absolutely no level service. Worst part my kids left hungry. That's right my kids age 11 - 7 didn't get enough food and I still have to feed them after feeding them dinner. I only wish I could give this place a 0 cause that's what it deserves.

Perfect place to hit up after a night at the bar or club. The PB&B burger was ridiculously delicious- peanut butter and bacon with sweet pickles on a fat burger made my night!! My husband, who will almost never go on about a meal, would not shut up about how good the biscuits and gravy were. I ended my meal with a slice of buttermilk pie with raspberry lemon jam that was to die for. A little pricey but totally worth it.
